More cards tricks than you can handle

  Another Quick Coincidence - Allan Ackerman

~ Aces are Red, black, black, red- together on top the face down deck. Hold a left little finger break between the two black Aces. Casually thumb thru deck, and place the first black Ace face down to one side. Retain the break over the other black Ace, as you riffle force the other black Ace. Give him the car, but don't let him look at it.

~ After riffle force, cut at the break, bringing a red Ace to the top and to the bottom.

~ Bill Simon Prophecy Move- insert card face down into face down deck. Spread to the outjogged card, right hand takes cards above it, turning them over as you take front end of outjogged card beneth them. Immediatly, right hand turns palm up- turning outjogged card over, and returns below pack held in left hand. This cuts the deck, while apparently just turning the outjogged selection face up.

~ He selected an Ace, he put it between to other Aces, and your first card is an Ace.



ANY WAY YOU COUNT THEM

EFFECT: Shuffle the cards well. Holding them face down, turn over the top card and place it face up on the table. Think of it as a stack. Starting with is face value, deal face up on top of it as many more cards as needed to reach 10. For instance if it's a 3, deal seven cards on top of it; if it's a five, deal five cards. Face cards count as 10, so no more cards are needed. An ace counts as one and needs nine more cards.

Continue makins stacks as above, keeping them separate, untile the deck is exhausted. If there are not enough cards to complete a final stack, keep that incomplete stack in your hand. How choose at random any three stacks that contain at least four cards each, and trun these stacks face down.

Gather all remaining cards in any order and add them to the cards ( if any ) in your hand. Pick any two of the three stacks on the table, and turn up the top card on each of those two piles. Add thei values together. Discard that many cards from those in your hand, and then discard 19 additional cards. Count the remaining cards in your hand. Now turn up the top card of the third stack. Its value will equal the number of cards in your hand.




FOUR ACE EXTRAVANGANZA

PREPERATION: Remove the four aces from the delc and the cards 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 ( any suits. ) Put the four aces on top of the deck. ( Later they'll be found in order from the top down. ) Put the other eight cards in order from 2 through 9 and place them on top of the aces. Starting with the top card the deck should be 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,A,A,A, then the rest of the cards.

EFFECT: Bet the audience that they can find all the Aces. Shuffle the deck, making sure that the top 12 cards stay in order on the top. ( The audience won't notice. ) Ask a member of the audience to name a number between 10 and 19. Count that many cards one at a time face down onto the table. Now ask to add the 2 digits of his number together and state the sum. Pick up the cards on the table and count that many cards back onto the deck.

Remove the NEXT card and lay it face up in the table ( it will be the first Ace.) Place the remaining cards on top of the deck without disarranging them! Shuffle again without disarranging the top 11 cards and repeat steps 2-4 TWO more times. Now place the deck face down in front of the person and tell him to thing of a number between 1 and 9. Have them count that many cards face down onto the table and turn the last card dealt face up. If they thought of 9, the'll turn up the Ace. When this happens it makes the trick better, but it usually doesn't. If they thought of another number, they'll turn up a 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,or 2. Tell them to deal off that many cards-counting the turned up card as the FIRST-and the last card they deal will be the fourth ACE!



FANTASTIC FIVE

EFFECT: A card is selected and lost in the deck. One card is discoverd face up in the deck, but it's not the selected card, it's a five. You count down five cards to find the selected card. The other four counted cards are the Four Aces!

PREPERATION: From the bottom of the deck: place the four Aces, any five face up, and the remainder of the deck.

PERFORMANCE: Have a card selected and returned to the top of the deck. Cut the deck, bringing the stack of cards onto the selection. Spread the deck revealing the five, ( which you fake and think is their card.) Count down five cards and reveal the selected card. Finally, reveal that the four cards between the selected card are the Four Aces.

~ Finger palm one half card, folded in half face inward, in left hand. Fold signed selection in half along its lenght, face in, then unfold. With face of card to you, tear top half to center, along long side. Leave left side folded down.

~ Insert left side into folded card in left hand. Fold right half way away from you, all the way back on itself, and rotate all clockwise one fourth, unfold single side closest to you, tear right two quarters off, pulling out extra single piece a little as you do.

~ Show four pieces. Left finger along top hides extra edges. Give spectator the only torn from the card. Steal extra pieces in right hand, and unload them as you go for lighter.

  Spelling Bee



Set Up: Remove abd arrange thirteen cards in the following order, top card down: Three, Eight, Seven, Ace, Queen, Six, Four, Two, Jack, King, Ten, Nine, and Five. Put these on top of the deck, you can use whatever suits you want.

EFFECT: The magician shuffles the deck and takes the top thirteen cards. Holding the cards face down, he proceeds to spell the first card name, Ace. "A-C-E," and for each letter, he puts one card under the packet of thirteen cards. He then flips over the next card ( the fourth, ) and it's and ace. He repeats this process for each card number, Ace through King. At the end, he has all thirteen cards face up on the table, in sequential order.

PRESENTATION: The trick almost works itself. To start, pretend to shuffle the cards, leaving the top thirteen untouched. Remove the top thirteen cards as a group and arrange them like a fan, so that your audience can see their faces. Square up the cards, and hold them face down.

As you spell out each card, do it as follows: let's say you're spelling the word ACE. Spell A, remove the top card and place it on the bottom. The spell C, and remove the top card and place that on the bottom. Next spell E, remove this top card and place it on the bottom. Flip the new top card and show that it's an Ace, and place it on the table. Continue in this manner until the all the cards are face up on the table. (eh. You spell the cards in order; Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K ) Your audience may realize that the cards must have been set up beforehand, but this only adds to the mystery- and you can treat it as a puzzle for them to try to figure out.

Magic Session note: To add to the mystery, don't use cards all fo the same suit. A mixed up group of suits makes it seem less like a " stacked " deck.
