<--------------- Michael Ammar Michael Ammar, from West Virginia. He was born there on June 25, 1956, the youngest of four children. It all started while he was reading a comic book and noticed an ad: 500 tricks for 25 cents!. Michael sent his quarter and received a catalog. He began ordering tricks and practicing. Before long, he had a full magic show, complete with doves and a teenage assistant. The community, small as it was, supported him and booked him for local shows for schools and birthdays. While in college at West Virginia University, Michael developed friendships with others involved in magic. Michael began to publish his idea's in the early eighties. Performed for Jonny Carson, and at the Magic Castle. He has produced over fourty videos titles, also books and magazines. In 1999 The Magic Magazine named him one of one hundred most influencial Magicians of the century. |
Aldo Colombini -----------------------> Moved to the United Stated from Italy in 1993. Has performed magic for over thirty years. He is a F.I.S.M prize winner, is one of the most prestigious awards in the world of magic. Aldo appeared at Magical Empire at Caesars Palace and appears several times at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, Ca. He was twice voted Parlor Magician of the Year by the Academy of Magical Arts. Is a pioneer in the world of magic. Is a master of all types of magic. |

Bill Malone Has been entertaing the world for over twenty years. Bill Malone blends comedy with magic. Has had frequent stops on national T.v. Has performed for numerous celebrities, such as Donald Trump and Robin Leach. He is a true professional and a great magacian. Is one of the most sought after entertainers out there. |

Daryl -----------------------> His first professional performance was in 1968. DARYL earned a gold medal at the World Congress of Magic, the Olympics of Magic. And holds six awards from the Magic Castle, no one has more awards at the Castle than Daryl. Twice voted as Close-Up Magician of the Year 1980 and 1980, twice as Parlour Magician of the Year 1986 and 1987. Got exposed to magic in 1962. He started out doing street magic. He used to perform for his community, family and friends. Darly has taught all around the world. He also appeared on T.v. for various magic specials. |

Penn and Teller Began doing magic together since 1975. They perform over one hundred times a year alone. Have been on Saturday Night Live, Miami Vice, and Broadway. Has had their own PBS special, which won two Emmy Awards. Has written two best selling books, recently name two of the funniest people alive. Performed many Magic specials on national television. |
Dai Vernon -------------------> Dai Vernon: (David Frederick Wingfield Verner) born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada June 11, 1894. Got the nickname of "Dai" when a typo in a newspaper gave him Dai instead of David. His last name "Vernon" came from the dancer, Vernon Castle, who with his wife was a dancer in the 1920's. Magicinas know him as the "professor". Also he was know as " the guy who fooled Houdini ". He created twisting the Aces. He was a very smart man and knew a lot of old Magicians. He taught at the Magic Castle. Many of todays great Magicians came to learm from Dai Vernon. He passed away at the age of 98. |

<----------------- Alex Elmsley Born March 2, 1929, Alex Elmsley, most widely know to magicians for inventing the Ghost Count or Elmsley Count. Alex is one of few magicians to examine the properties of shuffling. He has long been recognized as one of the most brilliant innovators of card and close-up magic. He has invented several sleights and hundreds of tricks. Alex has various video series. He's still active in the magic world, but not publishing. |

Harry Houdini --------------> Throughout his life, Harry Houdini claimed that he was born April 6, 1874 in Appleton, Wisconsin. In fact, he was born with the name Ehrich Weisz on March 24, 1874, in Budapest, Hungary. Houdini began his professional career at age 17 doing magic shows before civic groups, in music halls, at sideshows, and at New York’s Coney Island amusement park. As his reputation grew, Houdini assumed a leadership role among other magicians. He served as president of the Society of American Magicians and founded the Magician’s Club in London. Houdini was generous with other magicians, but jealous of anyone who attempted to duplicate his escapes. He wrote books and magazine articles that revealed some of magic’s simpler tricks, but carefully guarded his own secrets. Harry Houdini died on the afternoon of Halloween, October 31, 1926. |
